FONZONE

Lorenzo Fonzone Caccese, driven by the evocative charm of a corner of nature in the heart of Irpinia and by the desire to contribute to the production of value in the great wine territory, in 2005 founded the Fonzone Winery in Paternopoli, with the collaboration of his sons.

 

The wine-making operations are carried in containers and environments perfectly clean. The grapes are harvested by hand, are further selected in order to eliminate any excess land or grape anomalous: this allows to significantly reduce the levels of sulfur in musts and wines.

The yeasts used for the Whites are exogenous, and have characteristics suitable to the purposes of the winemaking; for the Reds these have a secondary role but, as a precautionary measure, however, are added in smaller quantities..
