The ultimate porch rocker on a beautiful day! Tropical citrus fruit, accents a medium bodied wine that screams "Open up another!"
Tenuta Secolo IX Pecorino
VARIETY OF GRAPES
Pecorino This variety is well suited to our soils and our piedmont climate. The modest productions per vine amplify the intrinsic acid minerality; the prolonged aging of the wine on the fine lees improves its juiciness on the palate. It is an expression of Pecorino different from the more coastal productions, it is fresher, greener and vertical.
WINEMAKING TECHNIQUE
Produced from selected grapes and vinified with de-stemming and soft pressing and alcoholic fermentation at 16 ° C with selected yeasts. For this type of wine the refinement is in steel and takes place on fine lees with a duration of 6 months.
ORGANOLEPTIC ANALYSIS
It has a straw yellow color with greenish reflections. Definitely fresh to the taste, crunchy, it has aromas of white pulp fruit, acacia honey, fresh herbs, slightly balsamic.
SENSORY NOTES
An eclectic, extravagant, acid and mineral wine. An earthly emotion.
GASTRONOMIC COMBINATIONS
Excellent with fish dishes, ideal with first courses, fried foods and soups.
